2021 Player Evaluations Begin This Weekend!

Milpitas National Little League is thrilled at the opportunity to get our kids back safely on the fields this season while working closely alongside the County of Santa Clara Public Health & City of Milpitas.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions & the guidelines set by the State and County, MNLL be hosting CLOSED player evaluations in small cohorts on the following four (4) dates - Saturday, 3/27, Sunday, 3/28, Friday, 4/2 and Saturday, 4/3 - BY RESERVATION ONLY. A reservation link will be email to players once their registration fee is paid.

Players registered for FARM, MINOR & MAJOR divisions must attend TWO (2) evaluation dates to be placed on a team.

EVALUATION GUIDELINES:
- Evaluation time slots must be secured PRIOR TO arriving to the fields.

- Due to social distancing protocols, time slots are limited to 20 players each.

- Evaluations will be closed to family and friends. Only registered players, team managers, coaches & staff will be allowed on the fields.

- Parents/guardians may drop-off their player(s) to the check-in table & will need to return at the exit area at the end of the scheduled time slot.

- Players must bring their own glove, helmet, bat, water bottles & mask/facial covering. Please label all equipment with your player's name. (If a player is in need of equipment, please reach out to Equipment Manager, Brian King, at [email protected].)

- Per the State & County guidelines, MASKS or FACIAL COVERINGS MUCH BE WORN AT ALL TIMES unless a person has asthmatic issues & is unable to wear a covering.

- Equipment will be sanitized inbetween each cohort rotation. Hand sanitizers will be available at each activity station.

- Evaluations will consist of the following drills: running, infield, outfield, pitching & batting.

- Players, team managers, coaches & staff will be distanced at least 6' apart during warmups, rotations, arrival & exit.

- Players, team managers, coaches & staff will need to complete a COVID-19 Health Screening Questionnaire before arriving to the fields. A link will be emailed out a day prior to your evaluation date.
